A plain-English note on what we collect and why. This is a summary of how the product actually works — a formal policy is available on request.
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages and features get used, so we can improve them. It records anonymous, aggregated usage — page views and rough events — never your Rust server data or player details. It runs only after you accept cookies; until then it sends anonymous, cookieless signals and stores nothing on your device.
If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (e.g. _ga) to count returning visits. We also keep a small amount of local storage in your browser to remember your cookie choice, your language, and — once you sign in — your session. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of any kind.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. Analytics data is used only to run and improve RustSatellite.
Your server’s RCON password is encrypted (AES) at rest and is never sent to your browser. The panel talks to your server from our backend — your credentials stay server-side and are never exposed in the app.
You can decline analytics and still use everything. If you change your mind, clear this site’s data in your browser and the cookie banner will appear again so you can choose fresh.
